Victor James

Producer Victor James and DJ Chris Tisdell are two of the most reputed, long-standing and multi-talented artists to emerge from the dance-music scene of the Australian East Coast.

Both based in Brisbane, their highly effective musical collaboration is due to their different and complimentary skills.

Victor began working with bands in the mid 1980s as a drummer / percussionist and on keyboards / piano. Since then his love of unique and interesting musical production has seen him work on diverse projects covering the entire musical spectrum and beyond. In addition to his impressive production skills, Victor is one of the hardest working DJs in Brisbane, and by day, Victor is a highly respected secondary school teacher.

Chris began DJing almost a decade ago and has been a pioneer in pushing progressive sounds throughout Australia. Chris regularly DJs alongside the world's best artists such as: Chicane, The Orb, Dave Seaman, Timo Maas, Nick Warren, Oliver Lieb, Danny Howells, Ferry Corsten, Fatboy Slim, Roger Sanchez, Pete Heller, Art of Trance, Sander Kleinenberg, Robert Miles and Judge Jules, to name just a few. When Chris isn't DJing he runs a mail-order record store, throws the odd progressive party and helps compile the Australian dance charts. Chris also has a PhD in mathematics.
