Vas
Vas draws on an eclectic range of influences to produce a wide variety of electronic music. Having had experience in a diverse collection of musical genres, his focus turned to electronic dance music when he realised the power and flexibility that samplers, MIDI, and computer-based music tools could provide.
His tracks have encompassed a wide range of styles, from hardcore, to deep house and ambient, but his recent efforts have concentrated on trance, progressive, and hard house. Vas has composed music and soundscapes for several commercial web sites and software packages, and has completed a bachelor's degree in contemporary music. His tracks have received airplay on Sydney specialist dance music station, Radio Dex.
